Grants Deep Dive & Peer Review Workshop

Join the Greater Cincinnati chapter of GPA for our first ever in-person grants workshop! This chapter meeting will be different than any our chapter has presented to-date. The 90-minute meeting will consist of:
- A 20-minute deep-dive presentation on writing goals, objectives, and outcomes for grant proposals
- Attendees will break into small groups and share their draft, rotating so that at least 2 people can provide feedback on each draft
- Small group discussion of draft feedback, issues with writing goals sections, etc.
- Large group discussion of learning themes, feedback, different perspectives or approaches to writing goals, objectives, and outcomes, etc.
If you would like expert feedback on your work from grant writing peers, this is your chance to get it and strengthen your upcoming proposal. Please bring in a draft of a goals, objectives, and outcomes section you are currently working on (or a related section). If you are not comfortable bringing in work for review, that’s ok, too. Attendees may come for the deep-dive presentation and large group discussion only if desired.
For those participating in the review and feedback groups, you can arrive with a work in progress and leave with a finished document (or at least one that’s closer to being finished)!
