Managing Up & Managing Expectations Presentation

This is a presentation on the best methods for managing grant projects, managing "up", and making sure that the expectations of colleagues and clients are aligned with reality.

Anne Maxfield , a life-long resident of Northern Kentucky, has parlayed her years of experience in business development, fundraising, and operations into helping nonprofits understand how philanthropy relates to sustainable growth. Ms. Maxfield has a unique blend of business experience and an effective leadership style integrating collaboration with consensus building. This has served her well throughout her career in supporting companies and organizations in the Greater Cincinnati market. She has a proven track record of measurable results in developing new business and donor bases, retaining existing accounts and donors, working with volunteer boards, communicating strategies and providing responsible top-tier operations for overall sustainable revenue.

Understanding the complexity of today’s nonprofit environment has occupied Ms. Maxfield’s life for many years. She has extended her education beyond university (BA from Northern Kentucky University) to include nonprofit executive leadership training at University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana, as well as coaching and training for professional image enhancement, advanced consultative selling training (SalesAbility) and numerous workshops to strengthen her skills and knowledge in various business disciplines.
