April 19, 2023 – “Jack of All Trades: Skills That Strengthen Grants Work”

Grant writing is so much more than strong writing skills and an unreasonable attachment to the Oxford comma. Most grant writers have had to develop other skills over time that strengthen and support their work with grants. At this virtual chapter meeting, a panel of grant writers explore some of the skills they’ve picked up over the course of their careers and how those skills have helped them be more effective in their grants roles. This includes marketing, automation, project management, and so much more. You are sure to pick up ideas and tools to expand your own skillset at this meeting!
